PMO Programme Planner - London
One of the UKs leading construction contractors require a proven PMO Programme Planner to assist with their ongoing transformation projects.

The Role & Responsibilities

- To prepare and articulate competent plans in MS Project for any scale of project/programme to be used by the project team during the initiation and implementation of a project and contribute to business success.
- To assist the programme managers and PMO managers in the planning and sequencing of the Strategic Driver Programmes and in the preparation of resource and financial plans.
- Prepare a fully resourced and scheduled programme, including reviewing the outcome for conformance with expectations and requirements.
- Contribute to the risk register and undertake programme risk analysis.
- Create a view of key dependencies between programmes/projects.
- Carry out critical path analysis and make recommendations for changes to the delivery schedule.
- Prepare visual material in support of planned methods for use at project and programme meetings.
- Prepare resource schedules for use at planning and review meetings.
- Manage personally controlled project documentation in an orderly fashion.
- Carry out other relevant duties as required from time to time.
- Contribute to coaching, supporting and formal training of others within the PMO, project managers and programme managers.
- Provide a link to communicate planning community information between all parties

Skills/Experience Required

- Extensive experience of project and programme planning using MS Project
- Active experience of working with a wide range of planning techniques.
- A clear understanding of all aspects of the planning function.
- PMO Experience.
- Programme, resource and financial planning and forecasting.
- Experience of senior planning role in a transformation programme.
- Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Microsoft Project.
