1st Line IT Support Engineer/ / Helpdesk person - Junior / Trainee. Based in London (nearest tube – Monument) my client has a new requirement for an Junior 1st Line IT Support Engineer/ / Helpdesk person. This role would suit someone with little experience or no experience ! I am looking for an enthusiastic individual who possess basic IT skills with a good level of common sense. My client offers an 35 hour working week – 9.30am to 5.30pm.
You must be/have the follow:
• Enthusiastic. • Previous customer or client-facing role. • Demonstrate an aptitude for problem solving and computing. • Computer literate and familiar with all MS Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc). • Excellent customer services /communications skills – verbal & written • Minimum of “A Level” in a numerate subject or computing. • Any technical courses on MCSE or MCSA or VCP or MCP or CompTIA A-Plus would be advantageous but training will be provided.
You will be responsible for proving excellent IT customer services, support and assistance to internal staff and external clients. This includes IT support investigation and resolution of issues, timely solutions and fixes, documentation, etc.
